We are proud and honored to announce that “Catfight at the O’Kay Corral,” one of our Adventures in Purradise episodes, was chosen to be included in the prestigious 4th Annual NY Cat Film Festivalâ„¢ on November 7 in New York City. Meowzah!
This 100-minute compilation of feline documentaries, films, animated works and video shorts will initially air at an indie theater in NY. Then, the film travels to various theaters around the country for an entire year.
According to Tracie Hotchner, Founder and Director of the Festival, “in every location where the Cat Film Festivalâ„¢ travels, an animal welfare organization in the community will be the beneficiary of a portion of every ticket. These non-profit organizations will be honored as part of the festivities at every theater and will have the opportunity for education and outreach about volunteering, adoption and fostering.”
Tracie indicated that if the film does air in Phoenix, Purradise Ranch will most likely be that non-profit recipient. That means we would receive a portion of the ticket sales proceeds.
